Hypermobility Syndromes Awareness Week is upon us and we're receiving some wonderful answers to our #2020Hindsight question - "If you'd known then, what you know now, what might you do differently"
"The one bit of advice I would give is to keep yourself as fit as possible, eat well and get a good physio to help you develop an exercise regime to support your joints and strengthen your core. Get some Counselling if you need it to help you come to terms with this change. And learn all you can about the art of pacing. So strengthen, look after your mental health and learn to pace. But most importantly, learn to be good enough and give up perfection."
