About Lorna Ryan - Registered Clinical Nutritionist/ Nutritional Therapy and Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner 

Lorna Ryan is an experienced UK based Registered Clinical Nutritionist/Nutritional Therapy & Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner with a master’s degree in Design research for Disability. She specialises in supporting adults with Hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) and EhlersDanlos Syndromes (EDS) with a particular interests in gastrointestinal, autonomic involvement and the comorbidities of hEDS/HSD. Lorna is focussed on delivering expert care, consensus and resources for patients and clinicians. She runs an international private practice, group support and is part of the multidisciplinary London Hypermobility Network of Excellence. Lorna is an active participant of The International Consortium on Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, chairing the Diet & Nutrition working group and a member of the pain & fatigue working group. Lorna facilitated EDS ECHO Nutrition, a clinicians training programme, and presents for non-profit organisations internationally on nutrition and lifestyle for HSD & EDS. Lorna’s clinical interest is directed from personal experiences living with hEDS & the challenges of co-morbidities. Her patient perspective brings empathy and deep understanding to her work as she offers an evidence based & integrative approach to those seeking nutritional guidance.

This session will be run on Zoom. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
