HMSA Handmade Christmas - Relax, create and craft
This session is FREE for members - £8 for non members and is suitable for the whole family. Join us for a very relaxed evening making decorations, cards, gift wrap, crackers and more. Create and craft while you make fantastic greener, affordable, personalised decorations and more for Christmas.

About the Event
Relax, have fun, create and learn how to make a wide range of very affordable Christmas crafts – decorations, gift bags and more. This session will be led by experienced artist, Julie Eurich, alongside HMSA Local Group Leader and all-round arts and crafter, Julie Hyans. Julie Hyans will be able to provide tips and advice on posture, splints and equipment for crafting tailored to anyone who is hypermobile. It will be a very relaxed, informal, practical session suitable for everyone – using materials found around the home.
Join us for a relaxed evening making decorations, cards, gift wrap, crackers and more. We will be finger printing, vegetable printing and being creative with toilet roll tubes!
Suggested materials -
Paints or ink pads for printing, a pallet such as a plate or plastic tray. Glitter is optional but it is Christmas!
Card and paper- this could include Christmas craft papers, newspaper, magazines, brown paper, old gift bags or paper bags/carrier bags
A selection of vegetables such as potato, carrot, brussels sprouts, bunch of celery etc.
You will also need a knife for vegetable printing, glue, pens and some twine, string or yarn.
This session will be run on Zoom and you can chat with Julie and Julie via the comments!
