HMSA is growing steadily and we have implemented new and expanded services for those we support. To ensure we are self sustainable, we are looking for a fundraising volunteer. 

You will be working with the Executive Manager to ensure funding is in place for new projects and services and to secure the existing services we offer. This volunteer position may lead to an employment opportunity as the fundraising team grows.

  • Community events
  • Memberships
  • Online retail
  • Charitable grants
  • Professional Education Events

You will be responsible for helping the Executive Manager to implement the existing fundraising strategy of income generating activities to meet the organisations income target. Your role may include:

  • Recording of all funding
  • Assisting with budgets
  • Assisting with the fundraising team development
  • Co-ordinate and manage fundraising with the Executive Manager, comprising community, trust, corporate, major donor and digital fundraising, across the organisation
  • Build relationships with donors and other funding bodies
  • Help prepare reports on fundraising progress for the trustee board
