Persistent Fatigue and Heritable Disorders of Connective Tissue booklet

This is an A5, full colour, 18 page booklet which answers one of the HMSA's most frequently asked questions: how to cope with persistent (chronic) fatigue.

This booklet covers the basics of what fatigue is, it's connection with hypermobility syndromes, and contains management advice and coping techniques, including possible alternative diagnoses, exercise, pacing, relaxation, medications and more.

This guide is relevant to people with hypermobility syndromes including: Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (Joint Hypermobility syndrome, Hypermobility syndrome, BJHS), Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (all subtypes), Marfan, Stickler, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, PXE.

The guide is produced by the HMSA, under the guidelines laid out in NHS England’s Information Standard. For more information on the Information Standard Accreditation scheme.
