The HMSA runs a number of online peer support groups on Facebook for our members, some national (membership is available to all our members) and some local (primarily for the members of each of our Local Group support network) groups. Please note that you will need a facebook account to be able to view and/or contribute to these groups.

HMSA Member Groups on Facebook (National/International)

HMSA Family and Educational Support    (For HMSA Family Memberships)
HMSA Professional Members Only Group (For those with HMSA Professional Memberships)
Once you have a facebook account and attempt to join the groups, you will be asked a series of questions which will help us to validate your membership so we can approve your request to join. Please fill out the questions as well as you can (it's okay if you don't know your membership number), particularly if the name you use on Facebook is different to the one you use for your HMSA Membership, otherwise we may not know that you are a member.  

HMSA Members' Local Groups are affiliated to each Group's local Facebook Page (moderated and monitored by the HMSA's Social Media Team) with the majority of day to day discussion being between members of the Local Group in question. To find out more about our Local Groups Network, please click here.
