Keith Diaper is an Approved Electrician and has been working in industrial/ commercial electrical contracting since he left school. He is married to Pippa, a school teacher and they have a daughter. A year after their daughter, Isabella was born Pippa fell ill and was admitted to hospital. After 18 months of misdiagnosis she was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Dealing with the news and the change in their family life has been helped by the support from the HMSA.

Keith likes to compete in sporting challenges, however this hasn't always been the case. He came to sport later in life but has made up for lost time. He has completed many solo cycle rides including a 1100+ mile challenge. Keith has run Marathons, Ultra Marathons on road and trail. His main sporting passion is triathlon and has even completed a full Ironman triathlon.

Since 2017 Keith has been fundraising for the HMSA, taking on endurance events, such as completing 52 x 70.3 mile triathlons in just 26 weekends, swimming 17.49 miles in 12 hours, running a 24 hour ultra and cycling a 24 hour ultra cycling event, to name a few. He has passed the multisport bug onto his daughter who also helps fundraise for the HMSA.

Alongside the challenges and fundraising Keith volunteers for a sporting group that provides sessions for individuals 16+ with learning disabilities (Multi Sports Club). When he does have a bit of spare time he also likes to draw.
