The session will explore Hypermobility Syndromes (inc EDS) and the implications for Dental Care, issues with local anaesthetic and much more.

About the Event
About Dr Audrey Kershaw
Dr Audrey Kershaw qualified in Dentistry from Glasgow University in 1987 and was awarded a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1991. She is recognised as a Specialist in Oral Surgery by the General Dental Council. She worked extensively around England to gain experience in Maxillo-facial and Oral Surgery hospital posts. She examines for the Royal College Surgeons (Ed) and has previously examined for the General Dental Council’s International Qualifying examination at home and abroad. She has 9 peer reviewed publications to her name. Audrey was heavily involved with undergraduate student teaching until 2017. Her recent work with patients with hypermobility and/or Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) has enabled her to highlight the relevance of connective tissue issues to her dental colleagues.
