Joint Hypermobility Links Neurodivergence to Dysautonomia and Pain
Common Co-occurring Conditions
Here you will find information on conditions commonly found alongside, or linked to hypermobility. We will be adding more conditions to this page over the next few months - and as research develops.
Autonomic dysfunction
Autonomic dysfunction (also called dysautonomia) - particularly postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS) and orthostatic intolerance, are common in hypermobility people.

Neurodivergence
Many neurodivergent conditions have been found to be more common alongside hypermobility than in the general population. While we don't know exactly what the link between them is, we do know that autism, ADHD, and tourettes are all more common in our communities, and as research progresses, we expect more neurodivergent conditions to be added to this list.
