Kim & Jo tackle what's going on in your brain when you're sleeping (or not), what the various different stages of sleep are and what they're actually for. We also look at sleeping positions, misbehaving sleep cycles, what happens to your brain and body when you're sleep deprived and discuss strategies and resources we can use to improve not just the amount of sleep you're getting, but also the quality of that sleep and therefore it's impact on your wellbeing. 

Learning "about painsomnia has been very helpful and helped me to understand what I'm struggling with" said one of last year's attendees. Knowing why you can't sleep and knowing what to do about it are very different things!
