Research into the life effects of HMS - commenced June/July 2009.

I have started a study aimed at explaining the life effects of those with JHS.

The study will be carried out in two parts the initial part involves participants filling in questionnaires aimed at exploring aspects of JHS that might affect their quality of life. For this part of the study I am based in Professor Grahame's clinic at UCH.

The second part will involve collecting mainly qualitative information based on using case study methodology. At the end of the questionnaire patients are asked if they wish to be considered for the case study part of the study. The case study will involve participants filling out an activity diary for a week and being prepared to be interviewed.
