I am sorry to say that if i DO NOT sell some more tickets for the Black Tie Dinner dance within the next 7 days i am going to have to cancel the ball altogether. I really do not want this to happen but i am running out of ideas to sell anymore tickets! Everybody who has already paid will have there money returned to them if i have to cancel this event. I really do not want this to happen but i am running out of ideas!!!!

Things are beginning to look more hopeful,just keep your fingers crossed. I am going to need a holiday when this is all done with its driving me mad. But there is no way i am cancelling it even if it kills me!

I wonder if it would be possible to set up a webcam and skype so people who couldn't actually join could pay a fee to be there remotely? - have a few chairs set up round a PC terminal so that they can 'chat' live with other HMSers, and be able to see them - it might not be face to face, but surely it is a good second?

All right, I'm on it. I'll have to do it later tonight or tomorrow when I'm at home but I'll definitely pretend I'm coming. Maybe I'll have a pretend black tie dinner in my house...I can dress up and sit around and talk to my cats....

I will be taking some video footage and loads of photos. I will put the videos on YouTube and the photos will be available on here NickB is going to sort it out. It is going to take to much orgainsing to set up a computer but it will be something i look into next time i organise one
