The only gastro ailment I have is the good ol' IBS.
My dad has A.S. there is a connection between his terrible digestion etc and his arthritus.
Absorbtion of protein from the blood for the functions of the body happens level to the lower back from the intestines. A.S suffers get bad stomachs, because somehow the possible "fusing" of the vetabre, proteins etc all have a connection. Secondly NSAIDS are terrible for arthritus sufferers and their stomaches in general.
I have a supposed blood protein level that is "outside normal levels (but is ok." The doctor never gathered that protein, playing a part in HMS, should be taken seroiusly.
Now I know how often IBS and DEPRESSION is often diagnosed on the back of anxiety/stress (oh boy we wouldnt be so stressed or depressed if docs would listen, eh?). But if the bowel helps process protein, and my joints have a problem because of something to do with protein. And I have bad, bad guts. Shouldn't the docs be looking for connections between IBS/general stomach probs...and HMS. Not just the fact that "she seems to have gotten IBS through stress"
Geez, I'm an anxious, nervous person by personality, DNA everything. Dont you think that if I was gonig to get IBS by 27, that I'd've been prone to it alot sooner, if all it took to trigger it off was "STRESS"?
Sssheesh!
