Only been to the gym once this week because I've been out a lot and been doing a lot of pushing myself in the chair. Not quite a week on the GI diet yet so will see what happens. Yesterday I didn't really stick to the plan but it says in the book that 80-90% sticking to it is fine so gave myself the day off at the beach  All the other days I stuck to it though so hopefully the one day didn't muck it all up. The one thing I have found is I'm not getting the low blood sugar shakes and headaches as I'm eating every couple of hours, eating lots of low GI fruits, veggies and upped my protein and wholegrains as well

My weight has become a bit confused these days. I *think* im loosing weight, or fat atleast. I swim 3x a week and have built it up to 2km or 40 lengths of a 50m pool. I've certainly lost a total of 3-4 inches all over but this fortnight i've GAINED weight according to my scales. So either something is off, or i'm building up muscles instead and thats not too bad, its just a little bit disheartening to see the numbers creep up! I suppose the loosing of inches is a good sign atleast.

I wouldn't be too disheartened as scales are notoriously inaccurate. At least the inches are coming off and you are doing well with the exercise

Shen - I would take inch loss over scales, also with that amount of swimming I'd defo say muscle mass should be increasing. :bday: for the swimming, I found it was the main reason for my weight loss.

Sheppy - :bday: that's excellent going!

PhillMc - not much more to do, well done you :bday:

Shen with the swimming you will have gained muscle which weighs more than fat so go by the measurements not the scales. And well done sheppy, brilliant result :D

I feel that i will not have lost anything this week, it's been a bit of a pig out week again, there seem to be a lot of these lately - slaps own hand

-2 for Stacey (takes her now to 15lbs :D )

+2 for me. As soon as she gets an injury I start snacking. Think it's the worrying about her that does it with me. Back on track today!!!!

Just a quick update:

Orlistat Start Date: 07/09/12
Start Weight: 15st 5.6lbs/215.6lbs/97.8kg
Latest Weigh in: 04/10/12
Latest Weight: 15st 1.8lb/211.8lbs/96.2kg
Difference: 3.8lbs/1.6kg

Not a bad start, could have been better. Have only really been back in the swing of things food wise for the last week or so.
