My MRI went well. The radiologist who injected the dye was really good. I signed the consent form to confirm there was no way I was pregnant and then he was really interested when I said local aneasthetics don't work well and so put me tonnes in
He was really careful and professional and I could see the x-ray machine and where the needle and contrast was going in. It didn't hurt - just could feel the needle - if that makes sense.
However, he did put in 24mls of fluid all together which made my hip feel VERY unstable, so I was glad they used a wheelchair to take me to the opposite end of the building to the MRI machine (what idiot thought that was sensible). The MRI was pretty boring - they had a list of CDs and I picked "Queen". They made me as comfy as possible with pillows and I was nearly asleep during it from the humming sound of the machine. It took about 30mins in the machine and about 1hr and a half from the very begining.
I have the results and have a labral Tear in my hip - I was just soo shocked they have finally seen something wrong!!!!
