Anyone going from down south Bristol area that could give me and my wheelchair a lift? i will pay towards petrol costs.

If not maybe some of us could book the same train together and get taxis to share the cost from the station?
The cheapest tickets go on sale midnight 3 months before the date you need.

Hi All,

Just an update on the RW.

We are currently full. For those of you who have sent applications and cheques, I havent written back as we dont have spaces at the moment but you have all been added to the cancellation list in order of contact. I can send the cheques back now or send them back nearer the time if I know we wont have spaces. Please just email me.

For those of you who know you have a place, I will be writing to you in a couple of weeks with the dietary sheets and also with a speaker list (which may change!). It has been difficult to sort everything out as we are technically running 4 timetables simultaneously.

We have circus skills for the children, proven to be good for people with proprioception issues...and the adults will be pleased to know that yes we have saved some time for you to have a go too!
There is a party Saturday night with a disco..which will be kicked off by Sue's wheelchair dancers...who have a great name which I have completely forgotten due to the time I am writing this!

If anyone wants to run a stall...and I know there are a few, please let me know so I can allocate the stalls accordingly. To help with access the shop will be in the chapel this time.

If you have the swap shop I have a few bits I can bring. Would anyone be interested in buying photos if alexander brought some? He could also take photos for people if they want.

BM/LB - hope it goes without saying that you can have at my hoops, rings and so on for the circus skills workshop and I'll put together a bunch of supports and so on I no longer use for the swap shop too if I'm not able to work out a way of being nearby enough to drop by. ;)

LB of course you can do your splint swap it is a good idea. thank you BB...I am confused though..am I supposed to have you on the list??

as far as I know the guy doing the circus skills is supposed to be bringing equipment but I think I will double check.

Madmum, please thank Alex for me..We will have someone taking photos etc. WHat kind of photos are you talking about selling? I am concerned at the cost of Alex printing them out and then not being able to sell them and how that will make him feel.So we better clarify exactly what you mean as I would hate to upset him!

For those that dont have splints, could we donate some money to the HMSA in exchange for one?

The splint swap shop is an opportunity for members to come along and have a look at, sample, try or buy other members unwanted splints/supports. They are not individually priced as we will be taking donations for the HMSA.
Bring along your unwanted splints/supports to the residential and give them to loosebones preferably on the 1st night and by the following day the swap shop should be set up for all to peruse. If you can't make the residential or wont be able to carry them just give me a PM and I'll send you my address so you can send it to me.

Last year was a great success, I hope we can make it a success again.
