Really pleased that I got into uni today and stayed all day, after having spent most of yesterday in bed and too ill and in pain to do anything.
Twice as much ain't twice as good,
And it can't sustain like one half could,
It's wanting more that's going to send me to my knees.

Managed to access hydrotherapy through occi health physio. He was really sympathetic, he actually knew about EDS. He said he will never forget when he worked at A&E and saw a girl their with it. He seemed really interested in it and he even agreed that the horrible doctor who dismissed 3 years ago, was a "funny one" !!!!. He is going to try and get me long term hydro rather than the usual 6, but no gurantees. Just so nice to meet understanding physios. :D

i'm really pleased with myself as i managed to make it to my 7.45am doctors appointment on time! i'd only been able to fall asleep at 5am so was very tired when my alarm went off.... it was sooooo tempted to just turn it off and go back to sleep but i was stern with myself and forced myself to get up. and actually managed. arrived bang on time so was a bit lucky but i wasnt late! wooo!!

and the appointment was very useful so i'm glad i had the willpower to force myself out of bed this morning, it was proper hard though and i'm knackered now (feel overtired and couldnt get back to sleep once i got home so not napped yet. i expect i'll have one after lunch :) ).

i would have been very unhappy if the appointment was unhelpful, but it was fab and so i'm in a great mood. no doubt i'll suffer for it later but enjoying it now!

Impressive, Fi - I didn't know doctors were about at that time of day!

I am really pleased with myself because I was kidnapped by a friend yesterday for an afternoon of silliness and so on in Brighton. I walked too much, ache all over, but have managed to put on a dress, take the bean bag outside and intend to sit knitting and resting up to make up for it.

Also I didn't seethe quietly at the BMW sports car without a badge parked sideways across the Disabled Bay next to ours when we returned to the car.

Instead I mentioned it to the chap on the way out of the car park, who thanked me profusely and ran off to slap a £50 penalty notice on it. Take that, you dirty, space abusing Beamer driver, you! I may not be able to stand up exactly, but that doesn't mean I can't fight back. ;)
