Hi katie,

I am afraid we dont have a contact number or email for Mr Rapley.

I always just sort them into piles accordingly and then send them off. :D

can the hmsa still use used stamps to raise money please?

i have just started on a new project - and will probably (hopefully) get quite a lot of mail as a result) if the stamps can be of use to the charity - then i will gladly save them up and send them on - once every few months or so

DOnt forget stamps from outside of the UK cost more. I friend once told me a regular 1st clas and 2nd class cost 0.5p as they are used sooo much.

I've got another bag full for stamps mounting up. I still get given lots from a local community support office where I used to live. It's handy that my dad can collect them for me!

I've had a letter from the chap who converts the stamps as I have Nottinghamshire Girl Guides county collecting the stamps and a few questions have croped up.

The Gold 1st and the Blue 2nd class stamps and the winter set that are like stickers they do NOT have any significant value.
International, large value and special collection 1st & 2nd are the only ones that will collect money.

I send t-bag boxes full and he has said the amount I send doesnt add up to the postage used to post them. So it is abit pointless to send thee regular ones, but the square ones that are 1st and 2nd are worth it as there isnt as many made.

I've often wondered about that myself so that's really useful - thank you!
