OT HMS Humour - My Five New Boyfriends

Postby Finarda » Fri Oct 31, 2008 11:35 pm

I thought this was very appropriate for many of us!

MY FIVE NEW BOYFRIENDS!!!

I am seeing 5 gentlemen every day.
As soon as I wake up,
Will Power helps me get out of bed

Then I go to see John.

Then Charlie Horse comes along,
& when he is here, he takes a lot of my time & attention.

When he leaves,
Arthur Ritis
shows up & stays the rest of the day.
He doesn't like to stay in one place very long,
so he takes me from joint to joint

After such a busy day, I'm really tired & glad
to go to bed With Ben Gay.
What a life!

Oh, yes, I'm also flirting with
    Al Zymer

and thinking of calling JACK DANIELS or
JOHNNY WALKER to come and keep me company.
    now remember:
Life is like a roll of toilet paper...the closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes...so have fun, think 'good thoughts' only, learn to laugh at yourself, and Count your blessings!!!!!!!

The top ten unexpected benefits of hypermobility/connective tissue disorder
    by Ouch Team

Thanks to Ouch reader Cazzie Cardus, here's the top ten unexpected upsides to having a connective tissue disorder.

Never needing help to apply fake tan to that annoying unreachable bit inbetween your shoulders.

Knowing that baby soft skin isn't just an advertising myth.

Being able to feel superior at yoga classes, even though you only started them a week ago.

Having the real chance to run away and join the circus.

Being able to earn money doing contortionist tricks for TV home video shows.

Silencing doctors who say "You can't do that" by saying "Oh yeah? Watch me!"

Telling people it really is your parents' fault.

Reducing dislocated joints in front of an audience, therefore cementing your hard as nails reputation.

Never having to not buy something because you can't reach the zip.

Knowing that you really are one in 15,000.

    I do like these.
There is a great thread on this in the miscellaneous section called "Looking on the bright side - what HMS/EDS is good for" (sorry, my link know-how has disappeared today)
