Postby Retro » Sun May 10, 2009 11:15 am

Hi All,

We have signed up to The Giving Machine. By following the link you can shop at many online retailers and give to the HMSA at the same time ;-) Just click on the picture.

Hi,

I have signed up to the site as I think it's a great idea. I do quite alot of my shopping online as it's great to help support the HMSA at the same time.

Have just joined also and wish I had noticed this thread earlier as recently ordered from Amazon, next time it will have to be. But I seriously want one of these http://www.firebox.com/product/2249/The-Slanket (and the travel one looks good) although being somewhat short am a little worried its a bit too big!!! When I have the funds will definately remember to order through the givingmachine. Loads of shops are part of it so its worth seeing which ones, and they are adding all the time.

Just thought I'd chime in and encourage everyone to join up. I've been using this site for a while now to raise money for my Mum's charity, she runs a day centre for people with mental health problems and she got a cheque for £20 earlier this year that we concluded was mainly the result of my Christmas shopping on Amazon, it really does add up quickly. I'm now doing half for my Mum and half for the HMSA, I can't abandon my poor Mum as she has so few people helping her but obviously I'm rather keen to see the HMSA do well aswell.

Hi,

I use the Giving Machine as much as possible when I shop online. I have noticed though that there are only 12 people signed up on the site supporting the HMSA. It would be great if a few more of you sign up as there must be hundreds of members that go online and could use it. There are lots of major retailers on there that I am sure lots of us will buy from during the run up to Christmas such as:

Ebay
Amazon
Tesco
M&S
Next
John Lewis
Argos
Toys R Us
Currys
HMV
Boots
& Many MORE!

Every purchase you make will give a donation to the HMSA.

Happy Shopping!

Just a quick reminder to sign up and order your xmas shopping via this site so funds can be boosted for the HMSA this Xmas. It is really simple to set up so why not sign up today. :)

I'll put The Giving Machine into my favourites for next time. I will also have to split mine as my daughter's cub pack are with Easy Fundraising. The difficult bit is getting into the habit of going through the site first but I'm getting there.
