EG I love that pattern - is it cross-stitched or tapestry? I've been trying to find a pattern for a large-ish piece to put on my wall, and I am liking that one.

I've just finished my parent's anniversary cards ... did them both together which was not a good idea, but I was just reminded yesterday that their anni is Tuesday, so it was a necessary evil. And of course I chose some really fidly stuff to do so my hands have gone on strike along with my back (for some reason, I crouch over my fine work, rather than lifing it up to get a better look :duh: ) I shall scan them and put up pics later tonight ... have to say, I don't think it's some of my best work but no doubt my parents will be very poilte about them

That one was tapestry using half cross stitches - I am quite pelasde with it and it looks good on my chair.

All I did was scan in the image and then print it out the size I need - I make all og my own designs in that way. They can then be just ttraced onto canvas and they makes the pattern. If you would like the bacis image to play with I vould email it to you.

I habe quite a stock of celtic and La Tene designs if you like them.

I've got for Easter hols for my son MUMMIES AND MORE - you can wrap your own mummy and paint the
sarcophagus and write in heiroglyphics. Also CLAY BABIES - wher you shape and bake little dinasours,
bunnies etc and bake them. Also makes magnets, pins and neclaces.

Jax, that sounds like really good fun!

EG - it would be great if you could email me the pattern, if you don't mind. I used to have instructions for drawing Celtic knots, but I put them somewhere sensible ... no idea where that might be now! Do you have my email address, I don't remember ... I think it's on my facebook somewhere ... d**n brain fog

if you go to my face book you will find a couple of designs including the La Tene one - a bit of saxon as well. The celtic knots would not upload so I ned to change there format.

This is the latest bit of weaving I have finished - It has taken ages as I had to wait for the Loom to be moved downstairs. I have done just under 3 metres of this and plan to make a waitcoat out of it.

Wow, how long did it take to make three metres of it? I'm curious, I've done no weaving since primary school.

This one took a long time as I had a break of 2 months when the loom was moved. I think it took about 4 months doing bits in between things I have to do. That was very slow for me though. hopefully the next bit of work will be done much quicker.
