favourite flowers

Postby barkingmad » Sat Jan 17, 2009 1:34 pm

Apparently our choice of favourite flower says a lot about us!

goodness knows what but guess its a bit of a laugh to decide, I mean I used to like roses whilst they were still budded, bet that meant that I was a real tight and controlling personality, as to me they looked awful once open,(the personality bit would probably have been right!)

now I like gerbils and sunflowers, completely the opposite, open and relaxed, sunny colours and always looking up....hmmmm! Maybe there is something telling a persons personality from their favourite flower after all!

what do you all I like?!! I will have a go at describing you personalities!

It has to be lillies for me. My mum was called Lily. We bought a cottage in the Northumberland/Scottish borders to rent out and called it.... Lily Cottage!

So, what do Lily's say? (I prefer just white ones to the Stargazers but Tiger Lilies are nice too)

Sue - did you know our name means Lily too

I was going to answer Lily as well - perhaps further proof that we were separated at birth

Wow! Loads of you have responded

Officegirl, Kay and Sue New, lillies the white ones in particular are a sign of peace and tranquility, as well as elegant and strong in a quite way, maybe this says that you are both calm people who has the ability to bring peace and calmness to those around you?

Finarda.hmm forget me nots and narcissi, hope/optism(sp?) and enjoyment of life, especially when it comes to new starts...are you a person who likes the thrill of a new start?

Shen..that doesnt surprise me,...I think maybe you are a sensitive soul, who appreciates the finer things in life but also like being different

Cuddles that doesnt surprise either! And I am not going to comment seeing as you have put me in a hole now! LOL

Hayley hmmm roses/lilies and freesias, you just like flowers! I guess you are a warm, happy person who likes to use nature for comfort, but you can laugh at the peculiarities of life too.

LB...I have a feeling that you answered with such zest you subluxed your fingers!!!! LOL Daffodils represent a spring and youthful approach to life, which means you like to live your life. You view life as a series of new opportunities.

Tabi..trust you to come up with something so delicate and so different! And hard to spell too! I guess that you are a tender person, sensitive and friendly but who likes to make a splash and make people laugh too. You are a person who can laugh at themselves.

hannah..tulips, you stand tall, but elegant, you take your time in getting to know someone but then open right up and wear your heart on your sleeve, so you are easily bruised. But also ready to forgive and go back for more.

Winonalemonade yellow roses and snowdrops, you are young in spirit and wish for a simple and homely lifestyle, but you like opportunties too. The colurs reflect your innoncence and also your purity of spirit.

You do all know that this is garbage dont you? LOL
