............I hope all our babes have a great day.

Cass starts College and Dom starts seniors today (have spent much of the day feeling sick lol). But I hope everyone has a good day whether they go back today or tomorrow or whenever.

Thursday. Today has been school uniform and shoe shopping - covering two counties and half a dozen stores. Am now broken (arm fell off in asda) and really can't wait for her to start at the new place! I know lots going to high school this year - they all look so smart and grown up!

My two both started back today - my 7 year old into Grade 3 French Immersion, and my 4 year old into his last year at a Montessori Preschool. I've just spent tonight writing cheques, signing forms, paying for agendas and other materials, and getting all the medication authorization requests ready for the doc to sign tomorrow. I'm happy they're back - at least I'm not running all over the city trying to remember which camp each kid is in this week!

Rosie is back in full time school (fingers crossed). We had a meeting today and she has so much support it's quite overwhelming. Busy looking for 6th form schools for next year as she will struggle with a consortium which is all we have locally. She had a double shoulder dislocation at school and managed it fine on her own, with a little help from her friends. All good :)

So far so good - she loved her first day, is making friends fast and couldn't wait to go back this mornig, a vast improvement on last year. She says it's much nicer and more relaxed than her old school and the same could be said for her!

This year both my kids are at Uni. They are at the same one, an hours drive from home. DD moved a week ago and she came home for one night (last night) because her roommate had forgotten some things from home. DD also had a list of things she wanted so she came home too. We are lucky that she is rooming with a friend from High School and her friend has a car.

The dogs were so happy to see DD, but they knew she was leaving again because they saw the laundry packed up. Poor dogs, they are confused and they miss both kids. Son is in his 4th year at Uni and he will finish in the spring.

It is different here with no kids. I am not up to working so I will stay home.
