I ate too much and it feels like I've subluxed my stomach! I have managed to sort my wrist out by sitting on it though

oh my god I think I just did some serious damage reading this thread- the subluxed stomach might have been the last straw (I have definitely done that!)

I've put my shoulder out brushing my hair
subluxed my thumb putting tights on (at least 5 times so far)
torn a neck muscle answering the phone
slammed my finger in the car door, LOCKED the door on it, then spent a good few seconds wondering why I couldn't step away from the car, tugging at my poor finger- yep broken AND dislocated. My OH couldn't stop laughing for long enough to help me unlock the door. We carried on into the supermarket to do our Big Shop though... me with a bag of frozen sweetcorn on my hand... I can laugh now.

There are so many more...

I often sprain my wrist lifting a mug of tea  but the other I 'snapped' something in my thumb brushing my teeth. It came up in a huge bruise as well. Not even sure what I did to it.

I dislocated my thumb trying to pick up a pint of coca cola once. It had been handed to me by the Managing Director of my company, so I desparately tried not to let on that I was in pain and put the glass down as soon as I could.

Heehee these are all brilliant.

i remember once i was in the bath, shaving my legs and my hip took a spasam and i managed to slice all up my leg, my friends thought i was attempting suicide . . . badly.

I also remember being at a gig (a sitting down gig in fact) and was out all day, when i got home and kicked my boots off a bone shifted in my foot. I refere to it as one of my bones fell out my foot but my parents just laugh whenever i use that phrase. It was about 3 in the morning and i had to shout on my mum who was sleeping in the next room to get me some voltarol because i couldnt move and was crying! Very sore at time but funny now to look back on!

My left wrist is going through a phase of dislocating at every possible opportunity. It's one of those little bones slipping about I think, on the outside edge of my wrist (new one on me, it's usually the mcp joint on the inside edge) I am losing count now but we have had dislocated wrist in response to the following provocations:
Pushing myself in wheelchair
closing car boot
Writing in my lab book
Chopping an onion
Lifting my baby
and just now... Lifting a plate with a piece of chocolate brownie on it.

It's ridiculous. I hate wearing those horrid wrist splints, they always make my elbow and shoulder worse and I hate having my range of movement restricted. But what's a girl supposed to do when she can't even eat a chocolate brownie in peace without her wrist dislocating? It's all very trying.

 emma, methinks tis something in the air. My right wrist was dislocating (or S-locating as I call it) all yesterday. I couldn't even hold my fork to eat dinner!

Edited to add: If forgot what I was going to write - dislocating right wrist by bandaging the left!

Let me set the scene:
in the bathroom
getting out of the shower, steping on to bath mat-fine.
Dry self off- fine
steped on to the lino flooring to get to bedroom, Wipeout!
I would say 6.0 for style, 5.5 for speed.
Crawled in to bedroom called in work to tell boss whyat has happend. ARG, sounded that she didnt believe me!

Now on the couch with legs up on pillows.
I feel like a bowl of Rice Cripsies!! I'm snap, crackling, popping everywhere!

Emma I'm with you on the wrist thing too. My left wrist was one of the first of my joints to start dislocating (one of the little bones, when it goes the rest move about to try and take up the space!) and went undiagnosed for 10+ years  at least I'm not left handed like you

My bizarre injury is that I managed to knacker both elbows and right thumb writing notes for OU course. Decided today after subluxing thumb about 6 times on a 2 min car journey that tomorrows 3ish hour drive isn't going to go well with thumb in current state so went to the local community hospital and grabbed a physio who's now given me a lovely "skin" coloured wrist/thumb splint  Also got told off for not re-referring myself since regular physio discharged me...like 2 weeks ago and it was an emergency!
