Just to let you know that I have closed my facebook account as i have a call from my father this morning. He said he was talking to someone last night that lives very close to where I live. she isnt happy because her and her mum cant DLA. She was saying to my dad last night that she has seen me running around the estate after the dog when he has escaped. I wish that was true.

hey, just wanted to let you all know i have created a blog http://www.tumblr.com/blog/living-with-hypermobilty

i wanted to create a space to vent, to provide information, awareness and hopefully to help others. I was a training mental health nurse before i deteriorated and had to leave, and i just wanted to help really. Hopefully i can put some of my skills to use, and if i can help just one person i will be happy.
Please check it out if you have time, its fairly new so please be patient.

Thanks Hayley :D

Seeing as it is Ehlers-Danlos awareness month I wondered if anyone else was planning on doing a blog post about it? I'm currently writing a blog post, might take me a few days to write but have made a start on it! :)

Hi

Just over a week ago I created a blog about living with HMS, working full time and being a new mum. You can follow my blog here: http://savouryourspoons.blogspot.co.uk/

In the 9 days it has been up running I've had over 1300 views which I thrilled about!

Please contact me through the page if you have a similar blog and I will link your blog to my page if you could return the favour

Diagnosed April 2012 after giving birth to my beautiful boy. All the years of joint problems and pain eventually made sense! Follow my blog @ savouryourspoons.blogspot.co.uk

Hi All
I have created a very successful, completely private facebook group for HMSers. It's very informal and is great for letting of steam, or getting support at the moment you need it. here is a link for any who may be interested in joining us https://www.facebook.com/groups/191402067637298/

It's entirely closed from the public. messages show on your newsfeed but never on your wall. I set it up that way on purpose so I could rant, moan etc... so friends and family can't say all I do is moan.

which one are you sheppey make yourself known lol

I'm there too, but you can guess what one I am :p

Madmum, fb can be totally safe if you use it properly. Set all account settings to private and you're fine. That way you only add people you want to add :)
