I'd press it. For me there's no upside, especially given how emotionally stunted I ended up by being rubbish at school sports.

:P

:D Heh heh heh... I've been chatting with Hannah and she's only gone and changed her mind! You see, she's currently in hospital being treated by an amazing and lovely Doc who's found and pressed a great big red button for her POTS - she feels fabulous! I don't think I've ever heard her enunciate so incredibly clearly and she is speaking so quickly and intelligently that my brain struggles to keep up with her! It's amazing, in her words "so so so so amazingly fun!" She can stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down, have a lil chat, then stand and walk for many metres before taking a short break and being fine again! Such a huge change from how she has been. Absolutely fabulous she is! It'll take a while to get the med combinations and levels just right, so she'll be staying in hospital for a while yet. She can't yet walk and talk at the same time, but there's plenty of room for more improvement as they up her meds. Our Hannah is on the up! :D So yes, she has changed her mind, if there were a big red button to be rid of her HMS she'd press it, it's just too fun not to! :D

^Really uplifting post!
Send her my good wishes and extended    for her improvements.

And it can't sustain like one half could,
It's wanting more that's going to send me to my knees.

I kow this was an old post, but this bit really made me laugh! I was in the shower yesterday, washing my back and wondered exactly the same thing! I can reach anywhere on my back but I know that none of my friends can so how do they wash their back? Do they use a flannel and just sort of flap it around so it hits all areas a few times? Also, fake tan, how do they do that? I'm very pale so I do like to use a little in the summer so I don't feel like a pasty milk bottle. Mind you, I can only reach right up with the back of my hand, from a certain point up I can't do it with the palm so if there is someone around I do get them to do my upper back as it will be a more uniform than if it is done with the back of my hand!

LOL I used to think "will you come and scrub my back" was a euphemism for I'm horny! I never realised for years that no-one else could actually reach their backs hehehe

If there was a button which would solve all my problems health wise in an instant then yes I would push it in an instance.

I'm who I am today because of my problems, but my life is currently worthless with all my problems. All I had left was my studies and between my constant fatigue and more so my pain I no longer have those. Now I just have to wait for the NHS to put me back together before I can get back to living.
