I am really pleased with myself because I have finally cleared my workshop and am ready to make some new work.
migraines, fatigue, multiple chemical sensitivities, gluten and lactose intolerance, bursitis, ulna nerve pain, hypermobility, and possibly POTS.

...my "obsessive" finding and reading any and all poss new reputable info re HMS/EDShypermob has not only in general helped me improve, but once again has poss helped another bendy too :D

I d passed on info, relevant to her, quite uncommon/unusual(!!!!) and serious case/probs from the "hypermobility, chronic pain..." book and the EDS colloquium vids-she took that to her new neurosurgeon.

he, bless that man!, took her seriously and read and watched (obviously not there and then)- he then ordered mri s to be done with her neck in rather, and def not normally done, positions... and whereas previous "normal" mri had shown "nothing"... these showed that some bones in her neck move "very significantly" out of place.
he now is trying to organise a meet with someone from the nhnn complex spinal unit and prof g to together discuss if this can indeed cause her admittedly some rather strange symptoms and decide what can/should be done :D

previously the "normal" spine unit( think it was that) at nhnn, as well as pity enough dr kazkaz :( had dismissed her idea that cervical instability might play a part/that she had this and had put the symptoms down to stress and yep, bl*^%#} psychosomatisation...

i'm really pleased with myself because.... i drove all the way to Naidex south exhibition (at the ExCel centre in london) and back. was the first proper long journey with my new car and although i properly struggled on the way home it wasnt in the way i expected to struggle. i thought my energy levels would go first, or my pain level would get so high i had to stop as these always stopped me driving longer distances in my manual car. it was my core strength (which is really strong.... :shifty: ) that went. it just suddenly vanished and i spasmed up. made it home though so im also pleased with myself for that!

but that made me hopeful- a crelling harness would stop that happening as badly so i invested in one cos they're far cheaper than i expected!

IARPWM because I made it to a friends party on Saturday. I drove to the station, got a train, then jumped in a taxi to get there but I did it and it's something I never thought I'd be able to do. I'm still tired and my arms ache from wheeling but it's a good ache. My friend was delighted I could make it

I got back on Court! I was shooting hoops today after randomly developing POTS (post Viral) and being a big squishy mess for about a month! I was fairly acurate and got a fair few shots in so I am pleased :)

Well done Cracker, keep it up!

That's great JoSo, hope you keep improving.

I am really pleased with myself because I managed to get some gardening done over the weekend. It is a bit daunting; there is so much to do as my garden has been neglected for so long and my natural character is to just keep going until it is too dark to see or I fall over, but I made myself only do half an hour at a time. I also managed to get my son out in the fresh air and off his computer to help me with the heavy lifting so that was an accomplishment too. I think he even quite enjoyed himself!

Well done everyone!

Over the last few months I've been having work done on the flat and it's now getting to the point it's feeling more like mine. Things I don't need I've been donating or selling, and putting the money towards things I really do need or would help me. It's slow progress but it's getting there and some of the comments I've had leave me feeling a bit smug
