Try the National Eczema Society (watch the spelling when Googling - note no 'x'

)

Hiya loosebones,
I think this is likely to be gravitational eczema, probably due to blood pooling issues (d*mn POTS again). I get it now and again and it sometimes decides to get infected or become 'wet' eczema.
I find that neat tea tree oil applied to the sores can be very helpful, if that is too strong for you then manuka oil is also very good (hard to find on the high street though, you'll have to google it and buy it from a specialised aromatherapy store). Either of these can be added (a few drops only) to whatever cream you are using.
I use aveeno cream/lotion, this has oat extract in so may contain gluten. I don't know if you react to skin contact with gluten?
Finally diagnosed with EDS-H and POTS after 20 years by the lovely Prof G \o/

Sorry was asking for my gran whose HMS isn't recognised yet and she doesn't see the point in getting another diagnosis at this age.
ive used tea tree oil for my athletes foot as well might mention it to gran or her district nurse if im next there with her.
She appears to have heart failure (although hasn't officially been diagnosed with it has the swollen ankles and the diuretics
help with this problem).
Will have a look at some of her meds side effects to see if they could be affecting her skin. Shes been prescribed stuff with
interactions before.
The rash on her back is dry and hasn't been identified as varicose eczema.
