Crazy isnt it!! Never considered my hair part of this. I too have the very soft skin.
Many hairdressers have commented on how much hair I have, I seem to shed a lot too as drainholes full of it & my cream bedroom carpet, especially by the mirror looks like we have a longhaired pet

when it needs a vacuum! (Back probs at the mo so not that often!)
If I dye (darkblond/very light brown to cover the grey...actually thinking about it Im 43 now & started going grey at about 20..anyone else had grey early?) I have to choose about 3 shades lighter by the pic on the box than I want or it goes very dark & seems to take quickly. Also had a few horrendous perms in the past whereby it goes like poodle hair in a very quick time..a few embarrassed hairdressers too, back when curly was fashionable

( I still have photos which I chuckle at now)
I tend to keep it longer as the weight keeps it less hassle, when its shorter it bulks on top my head & sticks up everywhere in the mornings but i do need to use damaged hair conditioner or it really tangles, & hairclips/pins slide out easy so use ponytailers but even they slide out when freshly washed. I find dry shampoo useful as it makes it a little coarser so they grip a bit better.
Drying it takes ages with a hairdrier so I tend to let it dry naturally & then finish with the drier to style if going somewhere special... not very often as I'm less social now.... another thing??
