Hi Dori I have just googled Link worker to see what one is and its to help people who are experiecing difficulties with everyday life and they help them to cope. They work closely with the gp and anyone in the primary care sector. They assess you and see what help you need and ow they can offer you the right kind of support needed. They sound like a very good idea I didn't even know there was such a thing. Good luck with it hun let me know how you get on.

Hey Guys,

I work for a service that provides link workers. The term is quite generic for so many settings it is used in, I always assumed workers were named this as they link/support clients to the world, life etc. Link workers will be there to support you in whatever it is you need help with -shopping, bathing/dressing/toileting etc, cleaning, taking part in social activities stuff like this I guess.

Let us know how you get on Dori, they should agree some objectives/plans with you before they start.

Good luck
