Just to say, to all you peeps across the pond in the USA/Canada, my books are now also available from the Ehlers Danlos Network Foundation (EDNF) from http://www.ednf.org - the same amount goes to the HMSA, but an additional cut goes to the EDNF :)

I finally bought myself a copy. My partner has POTS quite bad so I could really relate to the cartoons, particuarly to the one on page 6. He had that happen at work a couple of weeks ago and nobody in his office thought to call an ambulance. He can barely remember what happened that day! I had a good chuckle though! :D

Hello,

Just to let you know that Hannah is unable to access the internet and process orders for Stickman products at the present time as she is in hospital. Nothing to worry about - it's all fabulous! She's being treated for her POTS and it's all going incredibly well - she feels fabulous and is having a wonderful time! She'll be in hospital for a while yet as her med combinations and dosages are perfected, then when she's out, she can get back to catching up with orders and enquiries.

All the best,
S

Thanks for the update shadowlady :)

Well I got myself a couple of the HMS and POTs stickmen books while at the residential and I have taken them to show my friends and colleagues. They all love them. Most people have tried to diagnose themselves with POTs as they two have been known to put the teapot in the fridge! Also, my colleagues laughed at the one about stopping me falling over without a hesistation in the conversation!

It has been a really good way to expand on my condition with my friends and colleagues and explain some of the things that don't normally come up in conversation such as the fatigue etc.

so and BIG thank you to Hannah as they are really fantastic books :)

Thank you so much Hannah for your continued fundraising! it has made a huge difference.

I had two of the t-shirts for me and Tasha. The one I bought I use for pilates, even tho it is down to my knees. I love them! I also have used some of the awareness cards for children I meet in schools.

I wore my t-shirt to the gym this week and my trainer commented on it - he recognised the website as one he'd looked at to research HMS.

"You know you've been pushing it when..." by Hannah Ensor (me!) now available. £1 to the HMSA per sale, regardless of where you buy it from.

“You know you’ve been pushing it when…” is a witty, cartoon look at life on wheels.

While wheelchair use brings out much folly amongst the walking fraternity, it also makes me snigger. Do they really expect us to climb stairs? Do they actually think we need someone to point out that we are in a chair?

So now, at last, we have a book that appreciates this intrinsic hilarity, from the cobblestone back-flip to the dangers of blowing your nose on a slope via the complete stupidity of putting the door access button just out of reach.

Illustrated with impudent sarcasm, this book is truly unique and definitely worth reading whether you are on wheels or your own two feet.
