Well I have just gathered all the stamps that my Girlguiding County have been collecting, the whole lot that Ihave just found has filled a small box!! About a size of a toaster!!!

Will pop it in the post tommorow if I get up in time otherwise it will go on Monday!! I'm very impressed because I had to really push the last lot in. Been collecting them since January!!

Ooh, asking for stamps on Freecycle (or Freegle as it now is in Birmingham) is a great idea. Was about to send my collection in, but will hold off for a couple of weeks now. :)

Hi,

I have asked people tin the past to save their old stamps on Freecycle and drop them off at a local community centre. I ended up collecting bags full of them! Towards Xmas time is a great time to ask about it on Freecycle as that is when people tend to get a lot stamps sent to them from Cards. I am planning to remind people about it on the run up to Xmas. It's a great idea.

Hi Parent,

I cant remember off hand but its in the newsletter I think, I think the last cheque we had was for around £15 but obviously it depends on how many stamps he has been sent! :D

Am just about to post on Freegle to ask for more used stamps as I got a great response last time!

Just checking though, the newsletter mentioned sorting them. Is first, second and other OK?
