Hi,

This is a great time to start saving stamps!
Instead of sending your stamps to me would you please send them all here -

Mr Rapley
Foxglove Cottage
Bookham Street
Great Bookham
Surrey
KT23 3BX

Please remember to weigh what you are sending and put the correct amount of postage on it so that Mr Rapley does not have to pay the other end, as this has happened several times in the past.
Thank you very much.
Have a good Christmas everyone!

Jay. :D

Hi,

I just recently sent a pile of stamps off to Mr Rapley. I have also asked local people in my area to keep their used stamps for the HMSA and few people have confirmed that they are willing to do do which is great. I totally agree that Xmas is especially a good time to collect your used stamps as alot of us receive more post over this period.

Have just found a box to decorate to go in the hall or kitchen where I tend to open the post :D

Just before Christmas I asked my local Community Support office to keep stamps for the HMSA. They had previously collected stamps for another charity but it had no longer become viable. As a result they already had a few used stamps in the office so they said that I could have them. When I went to collect them I was suprised to be handed a full carrier bag of stamps!

Since they mentioned in their monthly Newsletter that they are collecting stamps for charity they have been providing me with a steady flow of used stamps every few weeks. I have now just got to work out the most cost effective way of sending the stamps!

Hi,

I have just been sorting through some used stamps that I collected a few weeks ago and have found that the local council have supplied a whole carrier bag full. I only noticed this after it had a few envelopes of stamps in it from various internal departments from the Council. It great to know they are willing to help put. Maybe it is worth asking your own local council if they will collect used stamps on behalf of the HMSA.

I had a call yesterday fro my community support office saying there is another bag of stamps to collect so It looks like I will have a mountain of them by the end of this year!

Well I now have Girl Guiding Nottinghamshire collecting stamps for us. As I am the Special needs Advisor I got the newsletter person to put a note in for me and they are now being left at the head office in A5 envelope fulls. I'm about to put 2 A4 envelope full in the post and there will be more by the end of next month. What is the estimate for each collect that is sent in? As I have been asked by a Brownie unit that is collecting.
I feel like a bowl of Rice Cripsies!! I'm snap, crackling, popping everywhere!
