Just an update we have no beds available at the residential weekend left, and we only have approx 10-15 day delegate spaces...depending on whether people pay their final balance or pay for their tickets this week, a few people asked to be put on a waiting list and I havent been able to contact them since to say that they have a place, eventually I will have to let these day places go.

It has been decided that as we have paid for all meals, day delegates who are attending the Friday evening meal anyway will also qualify for breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday morning. Please let me know if you wish to opt out of meals, although it wont affect the cost of the place it will help the hotel be better prepared.

I need to amend my food allergies - is that ok? I mean I can always bring my own food to heat up or something if that's easier.

I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in buying used books - I have loads of romance, crime fiction books that have only been read once & thought I could bring them with me to the residential & sell them for maybe £1.50 - £3.00 ish with half the money raised from sales given to the HMSA. They are in really good condition & I need the space as I am moving house soon (as soon as I sell the current one!!). Could you let me know if this would be ok to do & whether people would be interested.

I'm wondering when the latest date is that it's ok to change dietary requirements? because i'm at the moment trying to figure what i can and cant eat and not sure how long it'll take. at the moment though everything that makes me feel sick and gives me stomach ache contains gluten so i could be gluten intolerant but can't be sure yet

update on cross stitches: my mums been putting most in cards but a few in coasters too and i have a small zebra cross stitch done thats in a fridge magnet now. i'm still doing a few more stitches and will do more of the zebras

Hi all,
I need everyones dietary needs three weeks before the residential. So that doesnt give you long. We should have one of those tickers! :D

A reminder that some people have not paid their balances for both residential placements or day delegates. The day delegate spaces are nearly gone with people calling and emailing all the time, so if I can have final balances paid or an email or call to say people no longer want the spaces that would be a great help. :D

Hi Ruth - A lady has given me 2 boxes of books to sell at the residential weekend so I am bringing the books with me to sell and whatever does not sell will go on to charity... so if anyone has any books they want to bring and sell I thought it could help raise some extra cash for the HMSA :) .... I can't do the books and the raffle though, so I don't know if anyone wants to volunteer to be in charge of the selling of the books?? If not, we will have to have an 'honesty box'! :P

Its a good job we have the whole hotel!

You lot are selling so much people are going to have to take secured loans out on their scooters! Seriously dont work too hard on selling things because people will only have a certain amount to spend and I dont want anyone feeling disappointed etc...on the other hand sell, sell , sell!!! we need some income!

Is anyone planning to get there earlier than me? If so dont set up any stalls until we decide where to put you as I know that we need the two conference rooms for at least two sessions etc...I need to find somewhere to put you all!

If there's space ;) I can bring some decorative night light holders to sell. I've got a big box of them (long story  ) and I was intending to bring them to pass on to anyone who might be interested in selling them at car boots etc as I don't have the time. Of course, if people want to buy some at the residential too I won't stop you!

Hi Jo-jo - I don't mind looking after the books & selling them on a stall.

Hi Donna - I need to be provided with a gluten/wheat free diet whilst on the residential. Hope its ok but I'm bringing my mum with me now instead of my partner as we have split up so I thought it would be pointless bringing him as he won't be interested in learning anything extra etc.

Thanks
