My physio has indicated that she would be interested in the outcome of the talk on the Hypermobility Masterclass. Will we get printed notes for these or copies in the next newsletter? Note taking being something of a problem for most of us

I don't think my scatterbrain is up to remembering everything otherwise

Hoorah!!

My lovely friend Tammy has delivered the collection of beaded bracelets and necklaces that she has very generously made and donated to the HMSA to be sold at the residential weekend. She contacted a company called Beadsdirect and explained what she wanted to do and they also very kindly donated all the beads and materials for the jewellery

There will be a number of pieces for sale from the Saturday morning, ranging from £4.00 up to £10.00, as well as a collection of Sterling Silver Pandora style beads for £1.00 each. So please save some pennies for both the jewellery and the poetry booklets that I have nominated my poor hubby to sell for me whilst I am listening to all the lectures

See you all soon,

Sue

Have just finished my marathon of making jewllery. I guess once I start going I dont stop. It up for the raffle or to be sold.
4 star necklaces (like from the Plymouth Big Bash)
4 HMSA bead bracklets (perfect for fitting over splints)
4 HMSA phone/bag charms
1 organge necklace
1 grey/black bracklet

I've been to my scrapstore and got some boots freebees they can also go into the raffle!
I may get some more done tommorow but it all depends on my creative spirt, or there may be some cards done!
I feel like a bowl of Rice Cripsies!! I'm snap, crackling, popping everywhere!

Only a few days now and we'll be all bendy together. I can't wait, getting very excited. I'd like to point out though that I may be a little pre-occupied over the weekend as I'll be coming home and leaving almost right away for a funeral (downer, huh?). Added to my not exactly awesome social skills and literal thinking I may come across as even stranger than usual this time. For those who don't know me well, please don't think it's personal! Autism + Bereavement does not a confident blaadyblah make!

sorry for your loss  i'm sure everyone will understand if your not the most cheerful, sociable person there

you probably have a million and one things to do so dont worry about this, i can cope with my mums nagging for a few more days but my mum being super organised as usual has been nagging me for about a week to find out whats in our room so she knows whether i'll need to bring the bath board etc. as organised as she is i'm surprised she doesnt check my bag whenever i'm going anywhere to make sure i got everything i need

remember everyone, dont do your packing all at once. you gotta remember pacing which surprisingly i'm doing although i'll probably end up repacking my bag a dozen times because i'll keep remembering things i havent put in or things i'm not sure i've put in that'll turn up right at the bottom of the bag when i check
pain is just weakness leaving the body (try to believe it, it helps)

What I do is leave my suitcase on the floor of the room for the week before and just keep throwing random things in it as I remember! Then on that morning I put in toothbrush, deodarant etc as I use them and so hopefully I don't forget anything required for my morning routine :)

I'm with Eloise. I'm going to get my little suitcase out now and as I think of important random things I need to take, often as I use them, I'll chuck them in during the week. (Pillow and cushions are obvious!)

That's a very clever plan!

I just have two toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoos, etc. One set lives at home, and the other lives in a washbag in my hospital bag and gets used when I go away. I have doubles of just about everything else for the hospital bag too, except hairbrush, hairdryer and mobile charger. They're on my list!

I'm starting to feel more jealous about the residential, but also relieved that I hadn't booked a room, as I would be panicking by now that I would have to cancel, which would be worse than not having booked in the first place!

*hugs* Blaady. Can you try not to visit my toilet cubicle this time though? You scared me last time round

I can't wait - I've packed and re-packed about twenty times!!

Hello everyone!

Getting really excited about the residential now. I just had a thought though... Will anyone remember me? I haven't been around over the last couple of years due to being all tied up with my MSc and having no time to breathe, and I just kind of lost track. Can you forgive me, and moreover, has anyone got the foggiest idea who I am??
