I've already packed my suitcase twice! I'm so excited! I'm bringing some size 8-12 designer evening dresses just in case anyone wants to borrow one :)

Eeee! :)

Thanks Sheppey, was just popping in to remind everyone about the splint swap shop.

The objective is that anyone with unused, unwanted or unsuitable splints, supports or aids can bring them along and donate them.

Anyone who is interested or would like to pick up something off the stand is only required to offer a donation (all proceeds to the HMSA) and they can have whichever item takes their eye.

I will be collecting the donated items on Friday once I've arrived and wont open the stand until Saturday so that everyone has the opportunity to donate and have a look around.

Any items of value may have a suggested donation amount.

If anyone wants to send me items in advance to save extra weight if travelling by train etc, please feel free to message me and I'll send you my address.

Hope that covers everything, any questions just shout

Time is very close to the residential and Me and Eloise have been talking about her Little Miss who is attending she is 5 (almost 6 as she has been saying) and she is a little bit too friendly with people who she doesn't know.

If she asks for a cuddle please say 'I would rather have a high five' she is a bendy herself so wont five too hard.

She has the most amazing white blonde hair so she isn't hard to miss.

Ta very much Aunty Jess and Eloise

I'll tell her tomorrow when I see her if she hasn't already seen the message on here.

magical I'm sending you a pm

madmum I'm currently working out a fair way for everyone to get a chance to look at the splints etc first so please don't be offended if I say that I will bear your bid in mind but can't guarantee it as I have to still sort out some logistics. It may be fairer to put desirable items and items of value into the raffle

High fives waiting for little miss. Do you need any items for raffle? Can bring a few if you want. Also got some splints (mainly wrist) for the splint stand.

The splints I'm bringing are the following (I haven't finished sorting through our flat so I'll probably find more laying around  )

- Donjoy Ankle Brace Boot - Similar to http://www.betterbraces.com/donjoy-maxtrax-walker
- Form Fit Ankle Lace pair - http://www.ossur.com/?PageID=13539
- Procool Thumb Restriction Splint - http://www.healthandcare.co.uk/hand-sup ... plint.html

Seemed like more when I was bagging it up, probably because of the big boot

I agree with loosebones about putting higher value items such as crutches into a raffle or something similiar. That way everyone has a chance and it will be fair. :D

I was wondering if I should bring some other stuff to sell for the charity or go in the raffle. I have a lot of books to get rid of and would rather the money for them go to the HMSA. I'm coming up by car so I have the room to bring them
