i have been doing a bit of research for another site ,and have come across this organisation DIAL CLICK HERE FOR INFO
who offer all sorts of help / info on many issues , including help on filling out DLA and other benefit application forms .
The organisation is run by disabled people for disabled people ,and is listed on a few websites , including Devon County Councils website .
Its worth a look
