i sorry that you're having a bad time at the moment

have you asked about neck collars/braces? maybe its a good idea to get a soft support just for piece of mind until the scan is done?

this site has some very reasonably priced braces and collars, ive bookmarked it as they seem to sell loads of useful stuff!

hope you get your neck sorted out soon! :sorry:

Well, got home today to find a answerphone message from Prof Grahame saying he had now spoken to the MRI people and it has been rescheduled to Tuesday at 1:20pm. Hoping this'll be it now. Have to wait and see. The results/report will be ready 24 hours later. Getting a bit nervous really. I am having some more problems with my neck now; getting more painful and the tingling is now pretty much all the time so I'll be glad when its done to find out if there's something wrong.

Once again, thanks for all the kind comments.

Lizzie,

Glad it's been sorted out now and that you'll get the results so quickly. Take care of yourself and particularly your neck in the meantime. Thinking of you.

Ok, well I turned up 10 minutes early for the MRI and was told that they were running a bit late, not a problem, so i waited. An hour later I get called into the admin room to be told that the MRI scanner had just broken, literally within the last few minutes and they will have to reschedule the scan for another day.

So I am going back again tomorrow at 5:40pm, unless they ring tonight to say its still not fixed and I'll have to wait till further notice.

This is proving to be harder the expected! Never mind.
