General anesthetic effects

Hey.
last thursday i had ankle repair under general anesthetic for about 1 hour. i woke feeling very sick and sleepy (to be expected) but its now almost 4 days on and im dripping with sweat, weak, faint and still feel sick all the time, more so in the evenings. the weird thing is that i cant be passenger in a car because it makes me faint and struggle to breathe. Are these normal side effects for 4 days later or should i be concerned?

Ditto the seeing the GP. It may be something and it may be nothing.

There's this flu like bug going around here at the moment that feels exactly as you've described it too. Think I've only been awake for about 12 hours all weekend. But best to get it checked hon

thanks both. ive gotta go to the hospital now cos i think ive burst the stitches in my sleep cos its bleeding through the cast. gotta love our skin ay

Gosh I hope you're ok now! I have all those issues with surgery and now I tend to try and avoid it all costs.

thanks im much better now. its been quite up and down since the surgery so im being tested for heart troubles as ive colapsed on a couple of occassions and been in hospital so weak that i cant walk or stay awake for more than 3 hours at a time.
TBH i think theres something there and surgery was alot for my poor pump hehe
