The letter I got from UCH said Clinic: Hypermobility, Consultant: Dr KK - 'Please note that you are under the care of the above consultant, but may be seen by a member of their team' - has the clinic changed hands? Didn't think you usually got more than one consultant in charge...

Dr KK is someone that has been working with/for Prof G for some time, so it is the right place.

No Stone, the clinic hasnt changed hands, Prof G doesnt work full time, so the other doctor mentioned is 'technically' in charge as far as the NHS is concerned. She is a lovely lady.

Hi,

Professor Grahame is our chief medical advisor to the HMSA. He is also many people's consultant rheumatologist who specialises in EDS/HMS and receives many referrals from over the world.

hope that helps. On the main HMSA pages you will find some of the articles written by our medical advisors and then you can see why they are all so important to us.

I've sent you a message small.

Have you had a look through this thread? http://www.hypermobility.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2860&hilit=rheumatologist&start=285 I know there's a lot of pages but there might be something in there.
Take care x

I've heard that Professor Grahame is leaving the UCLH this year. Does anyone know if this is true??? I have an appointment with him in August! I could ring the hospital but I don't want to sound like a plonker if he's not!!

I am writing on behalf of Prof G!

Please be assured he is not retiring! Apparently rumours are once more circulating and for once he heard before me!
