Aldi now has the same model in for £39.99...spotted it yesterday...they only seemed to have about 2 left in my local branch so it looks like they could be good sellers.

Just resurrecting this thread as I'm considering buying a whirlpool bath when we refit our bathroom.

I've had a bubble mat like the one mentioned above for a few years, but they no longer make replacement mats. :( Also I've found that the suckers come off the mats fairly easily and that the mats can gunk up quite fast too even if you rinse them thoroughly. So, time to get something more permanent.

I'm planning to go to a show room and quiz the sales people but was just wondering if anyone who already has one has any comments on what I should look for. Thanks.

I have used a hot tub a lot, they are amazing, I can walk straight for about 10 minswhen I have been in one.
Apparently if you do your daily excercises in them it works loads better. Unfortunately I havenalways been drunk when in one lol

We've found a local spa in which I can get a massage and do my excersises in a hot pool and cool off in a cold pool. It is prohibitively expensive to do regularly which is a shame because the effects are marvelous for a few days and I sleeeep so well afterwards, like a baby. :shh:

I should add actually, that I am very seriously wobbly afterwards, as I am in a pool - someone else needs to drive, or stop me stumbling while I adjust to dry land again.

I've found them very comforting, but if I stay in longer than 15 mins (just when i'm beginning to enjoy it loads) I get into a right old state when I go to get out. I also can't take the heavy settings (got bruised the first time I went in one as well as having my POTS set off!).

Guessing the home ones aren't able to produce such strong jets and don't need to be chlorinated? I'd love to be able to add to the relief I get from a "hot bath and pass-out" session.

Has anyone ever tried floating in a float tank?

Blissful........... for the hour that you can stay in................

Somewhat tricky when you have to get out, but worth it for an hours bliss!

Yes, flotation tanks are wonderful - the one near me closed some years ago but I found it wonderfully relaxing. :)

I have found a hot tub great for helping relieve muscle spasm. However, the last few times I have used one I have had to get out because I come over all faint. I have not been diagnosed with POTS but am beginning to wonder whether I might have a mild case of it.
