The Great Big Small Charity Car Draw 2010

For small charities, fundraising events can consume time and resources that would otherwise be directed to that charity’s beneficiaries, yet that fundraising income is much-needed to ensure the continued delivery of services.  To confront this problem the FSI launched the The Great Big small Charity Car Draw in 2009 to take the hard work out of fundraising events and support charities right across the UK.  Thanks to the support of Zurich Insurance and the FSI trustees, the Draw is back in 2010. It’s a lottery for supporters of small charities (and the public) to buy tickets to support their cause with the chance to win a funky MINI First.

HMSA has joined and is raising funds to support our work in the UK.  The proceeds of the Draw will be used to support the work of the HMSA in raising awareness of Hypermobility Syndrome amongst the medical, health and educational professionals.

Each ticket costs £2 and 95.2% of that is for our charity – so if we sell 100 tickets that’s £190.40 you’ve helped us raise which we can use to supply one hospital with a year’s worth of HMSA publications. Last year we raised £396.03

Or you can get in touch with us by writing to HMSA, 49 Orchard Crescent, PLYMOUTH. PL9 7NF, enclosing a SAE and a cheque or postal order for the number of tickets you want to purchase.

The closing date for purchase of tickets is 6th September 2010.

All tickets/monies have to be returned to the office by 8th September 2010, so that we can collate the final report and send the ticket stubs and money collected back to the FSI by the 20th September 2010.
